Are you dreaming of having gorgeous images of your children adorning the walls of your home, but your children are young and wild, and you think they will not cooperate?
Are you worried that hiring a Photographer is a waste of money, because there is no way your child will stay still long enough for your Photographer to capture beautiful images?
Is this you? Then a Lifestyle Photoshoot is the thing for you!
Childhood is so very fleeting, and it is so important to have those gorgeous details of your kids' little faces preserved, the tiny nose, those long lashes, the cheeky smiles, the chubby cheeks.
I know because a decade has passed since my oldest child was born, and I never cease to marvel at how quickly that time has flown past.
"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things long after you have forgotten everything."
This is my favourite Photography quote, and the reason why I do what I do!
I love freezing moments in time and preserving those details and memories forever!
Lifestyle Photography is a genre of Photography that aims to capture images of people in everyday situations, events or milestones in an artistic way.
When I work with kids and families I do not put parents under more pressure by selling my skills by the hour. I spend as much time with each family as it takes for the children (and Parents) to relax, and be captured in an easy, relaxed and authentic style.
What happens next
Before your Photoshoot I would love to find out as much as I can about your family, so I can give you the best experience possible. What are you imagining your photographs to look like, what would you like to achieve, is there anything in particular you would like to incorporate? Tell me about your children and what they love. Do ask as many questions as you like, so we can work together to create something beautiful.
Where to go
I typically take my families outside into beautiful surroundings of your choice, that may be a forest, a field of flowers or a beach, where you can relax and have fun. We have an abundance of beautiful natural backdrops for Photoshoots here in Edinburgh and the Lothians, like the stunning Yellowcraigs Beach and Tyninghame Beach, Binning Woods, Dalkeith Country Park, Roslin Glen Country Park, or you could even give your photos an 'Outlander' feel and use the beautiful Preston Mill as a backdrop for your Photoshoot.
Once we get to our location I will gently guide you to help me create my magic. My aim is to capture candid, authentic photographs of the connection and joy between you that you will treasure for many years to come, and you will be proud and excited to show your family and friends!
Much Love, Natty xx
