Our mission is to create whimsical, timeless portraits that will touch your soul. Do we always capture our clients smiling at the camera? No, although we love capturing genuine smiles, we strive to capture the true essence of the people and their story, so we will generally not ask you to look and smile, but rather capture the moment that is unfolding. The eyes are the gateway to a persons' soul and speak louder than smiles and words.

Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

We will plan your Photoshoot together! We will talk about what you are imagining from your session, plan where to go, and what to wear. We'll create memories and have fun!
You decide if you would like a more traditional portrait, or more relaxed, lifestyle type images, or a mixture of both. My emphasis is on true connection and joy with your loved ones, and give you gentle guidance along the way to get the most out of your session.

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Portrait sessions typically range from 1 to 2 hours. We strive to provide ample time to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. Unless it's very wet or other extreme weather we usually go ahead with the photoshoot, clouds and wind can add beautiful depth and atmosphere! We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.

Capturing a baby in its' first days and weeks of life is surely one of the most precious things! As a Mummy to two beautiful girls, I know only too well how quickly those precious moments pass. Let's capture some of those incredible moments and your babies' tiny details, so you can treasure them forever!
In my previous career I worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, so you can rest assured that your baby is in very safe hands.
Our newborn sessions take place either in your own home , so you and baby can feel relaxed in your own environment, or if you prefer you can come to my home studio, where you can relax while I take precious photos of your baby.
Our newborn and baby sessions are a combination of Lifestyle based and gently posed images, both for baby, and with parents and siblings, if you would love to be included.
Are you looking for very posed images in beautiful baskets and props? Then I am not for you, I take a more organic and baby led approach to document your babies' early days. You are welcome to book a session no matter your babies' age.

We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritise quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

We are based east of Edinburgh in the beautiful conservation Village of East Linton, and yes, I am happy to meet you at your favourite park or beach, or visit you at home. If you're not sure of a location for your Photoshoot, we are happy to talk you through options, so you can get the most out of your session. We photograph people in and around Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
