They say kids and pets are the hardest to photograph, but despite that they are my favourite subjects, and that's because they never fail to induce the most joyful, fuzzy feelings!
Hi, I'm Natalie and I'm a Portrait and Lifestyle Photographer in East Lothian, and
I love creating artful Portraits with a whimsical, nostalgic touch, preferably in some magical flower fields or amongst beautiful trees.

Are you the right Photographer for me?
My mission is to create whimsical, timeless portraits that will touch your soul. Do I always capture my clients smiling at the camera? No, although I love capturing genuine smiles and joy, I want to capture the true essence of the people and their story, so I will never ask you to look and smile, but rather capture the moment that is unfolding. The eyes are the gateway to a persons' soul and speak louder than smiles and words.
How do you plan a session?
We will plan your Photoshoot together! We will talk about what you are imagining from your session, plan where to go, and what to wear. We'll create memories and have fun!
You can decide if you would like a more traditional portrait, or more relaxed, lifestyle type images, or even a mixture of both. I will capture true connection and joy with your loved ones, and give you gentle guidance along the way to get the most out of your session.
I would like a baby session, how does it work?
Capturing a baby in its' first days and weeks of life is surely one of the most precious things! As a Mummy to two beautiful girls, I know only too well how quickly those precious moments pass. Let's capture some of those incredible moments and your babies' tiny details, so you can treasure them forever!
In my previous career I worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, so you can rest assured that your baby is in very safe hands.
My newborn sessions take place either in your own home , so you and baby can feel relaxed in your own environment, or if you prefer you can come to my home studio, where you can relax while I take precious photos of your baby.
My newborn and baby sessions are a combination of Lifestyle based and gently posed images, both for baby, and with parents and siblings, if you would love to be included.
Are you looking for very posed images in beautiful baskets and props? Then I am not for you, I take a more organic and baby led approach to document your babies' early days. You are welcome to book a session no matter your babies' age.
I also offer outdoor baby session, please contact me, and we can discuss your options.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based east of Edinburgh, and yes, I am happy to visit you, or meet you at your favourite park or beach. If you're not sure of a location I'm happy to talk about different options, so you can get the most out of your session. I photograph people in and around Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 2 weeks. You can download and print all the photos from the gallery. I am currently working on an 'A la Carte Menu', where you will be able to order the highest quality, gorgeous wall art and prints directly from me.
How many pictures will we receive?
You will receive as many pictures as are included in the package you have chosen, downloadable full resolution digital images, as well as matching 8 x 10 Fine Art Prints.
When do I pay?
A £149 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The balance for your chosen Package is due on the day of your Photoshoot.
Can I have more photos?
I work hard to ensure I provide you with the highest quality images, and I'm a firm believer in delivering quality over quantity.
If you have booked a small package and would like to upgrade to a larger one, then please get in touch.
